From its home office in Harvey, LA Vicari Auction conducts Collector Car Auctions across the southern US including venues in Biloxi, MS; Orlando, FL; Georgia, New Orleans, LA and Nocona, TX. The owner, Pete Vicari’s passion for muscle cars, specifically Corvettes, inspired him to enter the Collector Car Auction Arena in Biloxi, MS over 25 years ago. His pastime hobby has grown into a successful auction business that attracts hundreds of cars to each event with sales reaching into the millions of dollars.
Vicari Auction’s longest running event is in Biloxi, MS, which takes place during Cruisin’ the Coast each year in early October. The Cruisin’ the Coast event has recently been voted Best Car Show in the Nation by USA Today and continues to grow each year with cars being registered from all over the World. Due to the growth of Cruisin’ the Coast, in 2013 the auction was expanded to three days to meet the demand of Vicari’s growing customer base; and in 2021, they even expanded it to a four-day auction, with memorabilia going across the auction block on the first day. And in 2022, there were so many cars registered that Vicari Auction had to secure an overflow area outside the bay doors for trailers and larger vehicles to be displayed. Since the success of the Cruisin’ the Coast event, in 2020, Vicari Auction decided to add another auction in Biloxi, MS during the Mississippi Coast Coliseum Crawfish Music Festival in April. It is steadily growing and look forward to it becoming just as big as the Cruisin’ the Coast auction.
On another note, all of the auctions are being filmed for the Vicari Collector Car Auction TV show. We encourage everyone to attend and be part of the audience.
